What did attendees have to say about the last WAMLE conference?

Went to 'gender differences,' very beneficial!!! We bought books-will further this. "What is a C," Good-will consider changes [based on what we learned].
-Kristi Collins, Maureen Fahey, and Catherine Yoho, Brookwood Middle School

The Chula Vista site is awesome! Good choice of location! Program of offerings is well-balanced. It was difficult to select one presentation when so many interesting presentations were offered! A lot of hard work-kudos to the board!
-Dar Kadulski, Northland Pines Middle School, Eagle River, WI

Latest research was helpful (Dr. Burns' brain research). Listening to other teachers and how they have met success. We don't always have time to look up research so it was great to have that done for us.
- Dianne Roth, Lake Geneva Middle School

Thanks for providing a variety of presenters and sessions. The a.m. keynote speaker (Marty) was phenomenal!
- Terri Thachenkery, Waukesha Catholic Middle School

I learned a lot about how to deal with at-risk students. The author, Marty Burns, was
really interesting. I felt that I learned a lot. Thanks!
- Michelle Fredericks, UW-Eau Claire student

Great to network with people around the state. I LOVED the keynote speaker!
- Betsy Sanford, UW-Eau Claire student

This conference was great to introduce me to middle level education and different networking opportunities.
- Nicole Rasmussen, UW-Platteville student

An empowering and validating professional collaboration. Nice to talk to 'strangers' about our commonalities in our educational 'traumatic' endeavors with middle school-aged cherubs!
-
Tresa Knutson, Riverside Middle School, Watertown, WI

I learned some great tips for engaging students. I enjoyed hearing the presenters' experience in the classroom.
- Katie Thompson, UW-Platteville student

Very interesting conference filled with great people and advice.

It gave me some ideas on how to improve my grading policies and ideas to take back to my team.
